FIELD TRIP:
Dear Parents, We are excited about our field trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Monday, December 10th. Only those students who have returned signed permission forms can attend. It was sent home twice and is copied on orange paper. A parent needs to complete the Student Information, Insurance Information, Medical Information, Release, and Signature Tips for the trip:
Please return the completed form and payment by December 7, 2018. HOLIDAY PARTY INFORMATION: The holidays are right around the corner! Below is information about what I need from you to make our days at school before the break fun for our kiddos! December 20th: Wrapped Book: Every student needs to bring in ONE wrapped book appropriate for a SECOND GRADE boy or girl (same gender as your child). Mark the outside of the package as boy or girl. It can be new or slightly loved! We will do a book exchange to kick off our day! We read a version of “The Night Before Christmas” and students pass left or right. They keep the book they end up with at the end. This only works if all students have a book to exchange! Extra books are accepted for a donation for those who do not bring one. After this, we will do a craft and play a math game (no supplies from home needed!) December 21st: Snuggly Blanket: We will drink Crock Pot Hot Chocolate and watch the Polar Express. Students can snuggle up in a blanket. They can bring a pillow or stuffed animal if they’d like to as well! Students must be able to carry their snuggly items in a bag or backpack on their own. THANKS EVERYONE! STEM PROJECT: We are collecting the following recyclables for a STEM project the week of December 17th: yogurt containers pipe cleaners popsicle sticks toilet paper or paper towel rolls string pieces of cardboard (could be from a box) empty water bottles *A note was sent home yesterday!*

About MeHi! I'm Mrs. Rabinovich. I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my 4th year teaching 2nd grade at Teasley. I received my bachelor's in Psychology in 2009. I spent a few years as a nanny before I realized my true passion and went back to school to get my teaching certificate. I am married to my wonderful husband Ilya and together we have a daughter, Emily, who is one and a half. In my spare time I enjoy drinking coffee, reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to partner with you in ensuring your child has a successful year ahead. Please know I am here to answer any questions and support you as much as possible! Archives
